Martin Dubravka had a dream debut for his new club Newcastle United in the Premier League. His save in the last minute meant that Newcastle managed a win at home for the first time since October.

The Sparta Prague goalkeeper is on a loan deal until the end of the season but is apparently targeting a £4m summer move. With performances like Sunday Newcastle fans will be hoping he stays.

What does he offer Newcastle?

The 29-year-old twice intercepted through balls in the early parts of the game before having the calmness to play the ball out to his defenders.

In Dubravka Benitez looks to have found a calm presence at the back comfortable with the ball at his feet. Something he has been looking for in a keeper.

Need goalkeeper gloves or have equipment questions then visit Keeperstop’s and check out their great range. They have just introduced international delivery.
